The most important would be to announce that i am now a husband, something that takes a little getting used to. I feel like i am disrespecting my bride by still referring to her as my girlfriend or missus as i still struggle with the term 'my wife.' We have been together for many years and i am glad that i finally made the journey down the aisle to fully complete our union.
I have family i am in the midst of realigning myself with which is a great personal triumph as well as attending one of my sisters' wedding. Another triumph is finally giving up smoking for good and finding time to exercise and increase my fitness, which i have done to an unthought of degree!!
It is of course not all good but i don't plan on dwelling on the negative aspects of the last year. We all have bad times so i'm not going to shove my issues onto anyone elses plate!!
Unfortunately with another year comes another birthday and i can't help but notice that they are coming by a little more hastily these days.
While a dream is a dream, real life can be heaven!!
